A 2× UK Popping Champion and multiple-time World Finals representative, Alex has trained under legends Pop N Taco (one of Michael Jackson’s dance teachers) and PopinPete (one of Chris Brown’s dance teachers.) When it comes to authenticity and lineage, it doesn’t get more real than this.
Mechanikool was a semi-finalist on SKY1’s Got To Dance, bringing the traditional art of Animation to a massive UK television audience. His influence stretches far beyond the screen. His most high-profile students include Diversity, winners of Britain’s Got Talent 2009.
With over 25 years of dancing and teaching Popping and Animation, Alex brings a passion for these styles to an incredible depth. Breaking down every technique with the clarity and energy of someone who has truly lived this culture from the inside out.
