Our previous Popping Masterclass with Mechanikool was very popular, therefore BOOK NOW to avoid disappointment. Suitable for beginners, dancers with some experience and ready to up-skill and battle.
- In these sessions you will:
- learn street styles such as Popping, Animation plus others
- understand the essence of groove beneath the technique
- meet positive like-minded people
- jam in a friendly exchange with other dancers
- receive individual tips for improvement
- be able to ask questions and discuss some of the hot dance topics (what step can I take to become a better dancer, what can I learn to be better at picking up choreography, training for competitions)

About Alex ‘Mechanikool’:
With over 20 years of dancing and teaching Popping and Animation, Alex takes his passion for these styles to a great depth. Mechanikool was a semi finalist on SKY1 Got To Dance series, making a big impact on the TV and introducing the style of Animation in its very traditional form, to a large UK audience. Alex is a former UK Popping Champion, twice! He has won a number of other battles over the years and represented the UK in the WORLD finals multiple years on the row. You will often find him travelling abroad taking a personal guidance from popping legends like Pop N Taco (one of Michael Jackson’s dance teachers), Popin Pete (one of Chris Brown’s dance teachers), as well as many other dance pioneers. Mechanikool coaches and mentors dancers of several dance dance groups over the UK, such as Diversity, and Europe passing on his knowledge and philosophy on dance. He has recognised the power that dance has as a tool for building confidence in individuals. He continues to passionately share his inspiration with any willing ears.
