We are Funk Format, based in Portsmouth, Hampshire. We are a collective of dancers, performers, artisitc producers, and positive role models. We are passionate about helping people elevate their self-belief, transform their skills and enable them to reach their potential through dance, music, arts and tribe of positive like-minded people.

Sasha ‘Mr Sasha’ Biloshisky a Russian born, UK based performer, teacher, choreographer, movement artist and entrepreneur is a member of the Floor Crusaders crew. His first love for hip-hop dance sparked when he saw Breakers on a tv programme during his teenage years. Sasha begun practicing Breaking with friends, which then led him to a discovery of other dance forms within the Street Dance umprella, such as House dance, Hip-Hop dance, Campbellocking (Locking), Popping, Waving, Waacking, Krump, Vogue and more.

Sasha has worked with artists Sean Paul, Kylie Minogue, Boy George, Alesha Dixon and Stacey Solomon. He has choreographed and produced shows touring the UK appearing at Festivals including Glastonbury, the Isle of Wight and Edinburgh Fringe. Also he has performed in numerous shows all over the world including as a member of the professional cast for the 2012 Olympic Games opening ceremony and starred in the West End production of ‘Daddy Cool’.
Sasha is the founder of the ArtGility – an innovative fusion of parkour, urban dance, technology and theatre. While touring internationally with ‘UPG Team’ for 8 years, Sasha became a co-founder of the ‘Performance Parkour (2PK)’.
As a founder of the social enterprise ‘Funk Format’, he inspires and guides young people from disadvantaged backgrounds using hip-hop dance and performance parkour.
‘Mr. Sasha’ specifically focuses on preservation of the street dance foundations and educates his students not only on how to naturally move with the music, but also how to express themselves authentically with close attention to other dance styles and movement forms. He shares his experience, inspires and educates other dance teachers and professionals. Sasha is a regular lecturer at the worlds first Street Dance Teacher Diploma and also a one of the specialist consultants for the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. (ISTD)
Mr Sasha’s skills, experience and enthusiastic attitude brings artistic productions vision from concept to reality as he works closely with creative talents of all genres and styles. He is available for workshops and bookings all over the world.
